

About
Established in 1959, the department offers B.A. (Major) in English, and B.A. (Program / Multidisciplinary) courses in the arts. Apart from offering courses on the latest in the field of English Literary studies, the department regularly organizes film screenings, public lectures, student outreach programs, theatre classes, and academic excursions. Coaching classes in a hybrid mode, are offered for CUET PG English entrance exams. It runs two value-added skill-enhancement courses, namely Drama-in-Practice and Translating Provincial North.
