About
The Department of Bengali was established in the year of 1942, when the college obtained its coveted affiliation. The department started its journey with I.A in 1942-43.session when college was affiliated to Calcutta University. The 2nd September 2003, is a Red-letter day for the department, which offering lessons in POST-GRADUATE COURSE affiliated to the North Bengal University. Now, department offers M.A, B.A Honours and Major and B.A Programme and Multidisciplinary courses. Department regularly organized feild-survey tour, Add-on-Course, Special Lectures, Mentor-mentee programme, Outreach Programmes etc. Good and friendly atmosphere with the students is our power of education.
