About

Established in 1943, the department provides a B.Sc. (Major) in Physics and a B.Sc. (Program/Multidisciplinary) course in pure science. It features well-equipped laboratories that can accommodate many students simultaneously, including specialized labs for mechanics, thermodynamics, optics, electronics, modern physics, and computational physics. There are separate classrooms and laboratories for Major and Multidiscipliary courses, as well as a departmental library.
